Baby/Child Dedications

Baby/Child Dedication is a public commitment where parents surrender God’s will and direction upon their children – for His glory.  As such, this significant vow should only be entered into by parents who are committed to raising their children in a Christian home and leading them in the ways of the Lord.

During the ceremony, parents bringing their children forth for dedication will be asked to respond with certainty to the following question: “Do you commit to raise your children in offering them the benefit of your life and your home so that at some point they will have an opportunity to accept Christ is their Saviour?”  If there is any hesitation or question as to your ability to make this public commitment before the body of Christ and sign the section on the application affirming your commitment, we encourage you to call the church office and speak to a pastor before proceeding with arrangements for Baby/Child Dedication.

Baby/Child Dedications are held the third Sunday of each month with the exception of May and June when they are held on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. On Dedication Sunday, please arrive at the main foyer information kiosk by 9:45 AM where you will be met by our head usher and shown to your reserved seating in the sanctuary. Parents and  grandparents are welcome to accompany you to the platform for the dedication. You will be contacted by the church office to confirm numbers and details.
