Our Sanctuary Band at Parkwood meets on Sundays in the main sanctuary for a 9 AM rehearsal in preparation for the Sunday 10:00 AM Service, and at 5:30 PM on Thursday nights. It is comprised of woodwind, brass, percussion, string instruments and rhythm section.  We rehearse charts to be used with the musician's giftings to glorify the Lord. The band rehearses upcoming choruses, choir/band pieces, offertories, solo accompaniments and music from upcoming productions. The band season runs from September till mid to late May usually. To be in the band, you need to have a reasonable level of proficiency on your instrument and in reading music. Attendance at Parkwood regularly is required.  There will be times in which you may need to review parts on your own rehearsal time. Playing in band takes a committed team effort.

And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men;
knowing that from the Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance. For you serve the Lord Christ.  Col. 3:23-24
